Kind of amusing but a little stupid... I don't know how those guys didn't seriously hurt or kill themselves given where the cameras were and how much metal was flying around. They also probably did thousands of dollars in damage doing that for... ???

Yes, it's a junkyard but there was a lot of salvage value there in the various cars, trailers, etc. that were destroyed. Seems really pointless.

I'm impressed that the tires didn't shred / blow more than anything.

Volvo would be a good choice for 24 Hours of Lemons.

That's along the line of what I was thinking, especially since I've been going to just about the ends of the earth to source a new driver's seat and some interior bits for my Volvo 960. A lot of the plastics especially are unobtainable now unless you get really lucky.

What I could see of the interior of that 850 looked to be in pretty good shape, somebody could have used it.

Or ChumpCar, especially if you can get Randy Pobst to drive it.

I used to buy parts from a truck salvage yard that was up the street from my old shop. These guys were fukaking nut jobs. Beer on tap 24/7 for employees. Big foot, and fat head, were the names of the yard guys, and Ronnie ran the place.
They did stuff like this . The would take the loader, and make race tracks, and jumps .
The place eventually burnt to the ground when Ronnies drug dealer shot the place up and ruptured one of the propane tanks.
I always got a kick out of going there.

700,000 views already, they will make more money on a viral video than the car parts.

Ok, so the next time we have an OT post about what vehicle to buy for the son/daughter for high school/college - we KNOW the answer.

Edit: They sure did destroy a few nice looking camper trailers though

A lot of things in life are pointless but at least this one is hilarious, informative and looked like a ton of fun....

I rally crossed a RWD Volvo for a while. Handled well, and held up.

Came out of a junkyard, just like that one.
