Get off my lawn!
|
August 29th 1995
20 years ago I wrote the check to buy my current toy and I drove it home.
![]() ![]() I still had my 1974 914 2.0 that I ordered and bought brand new. I had to sell the 914 because I did not have room for two Porsches one El Camino and my wife's car. I miss the 914 but I am loving my 911. It has hauled me to California three times. The east coast as well. I have driven my 911 to all these cities: 2015-French Lick, IL. 2014-Monterey, CA 2013-Traverse City, MI 2012-Salt Lake City, UT 2011-Savannah, GA 2010-St. Charles, IL 2009-Keystone, CO 2008-Charlotte, NC 2007-San Diego, CA 2005-Hershey, PA 2004-Fort Worth, TX 2000-Sacramento, CA And Grand Miami, OK in 1996. My car remains nameless. I just call it the Porsche but it has been a great toy. After 20 years of smiles and fun it is worth 50% more than when I bought it. That is a great toy. I will take it for a drive tomorrow and say thanks again! ![]() Tail of the Dragon, 2008

Glen - It's a great car. I appreciate that you drive it to Parade every year.
