This comes close to the sensation of Gout.
Worse pain you can imagine. I've had it in my toes, knees, wrists, and fingers. Not fun. .

I take my allopurinol. Haven't had an attack in 12 years!
And that cartoon doesn't depict a gout attack nearly as painful as the real thing!!!!

I was on Allopurinol for a while...I was on many meds at the time and I wanted to stop a few.
I still have 180 of them here...'may go back on if Tart Cherry Juice doesn't do me well.

I've been on Uloric for a few years now, very expensive, but Allupurinol wouldn't work for me. Happily have not had an attack in years. I think a kidney stone is worse than gout, but I don't want either one again to validate which one is worse.....
That stuff sounds pretty good, have to try it.

I worked with a fellow years ago who had bouts with kidney stones.
6' 4" or so...and he doubled over with pain, tremors, and tears. Made a believer outa me.
