You guys crack me up. Go to someplace with dry heat, like Vegas and double your pay check. Get away form the humidity.

Any place different. And it's all gotta be better than Florida :)

I've been to Istanbul, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Mexico City in the past year. All worth visiting!

Seriously, check out Sequoia, Yosemite, Eastern Sierra, Yellowstone, Glacier or any of our beautiful National Parks. So many people are quick to jet off to some exotic destination when some of the most realaxing and beautiful places are right in our backyard.

I like mountains and glaciers (having the ability to actually step on the ice). I don't know if that's possible in the States outside of Alaska.

Besides, it's Northern Lights season and we don't have those in MY backyard.

I used to live near to Mt. Sopris. It was snowcapped year round.

As far as humidity down here, it's not bad at all on the coast. The fishing is awesome.

i dont equate the tropics automatically with "paradise".

for me a vacation is anywhere. anywhere i dont work or live. or anywhere that is not like where i work or live :)

i would go somewhere that freezes your ass.

The humidity is horrible. Been in Tampa Bay for 23 years now. If A/C was never invented, I would have left long ago.

I've experienced Orlando humidity and where I am it's not even close to that. I think you guys north and interior get some different weather.

Been all over FL. From the Keys to Jax to Tallahasee, it's all horribly humid.

Go to one of the places I mentioned and you might just find paradise.

Thanks all,

I'm thinking that I'll just plan skiing holidays.

Jackson hole looks good. And I should revisit my old stomping grounds of Glenwood springs.

Btw today is 83 degrees 62% humidity. Just gorgeous.

Tampa definitely has different weather than here in summer and winter.
