Pelican Server very slow-wrong forum?

I'm very frustrated with the Pelican website. Several times a day it doesn't load, takes forever to load or is just damn slow.

Is it just me?

Nick

It has its moments but we are also not paying to be members so the infrastructure / maintenance / support / bandwidth costs come, more or less, straight out of out our hosts pocket.

I think even with the occasional slow down and breakage we are getting a pretty good deal.

+1 ....I seem to be getting my money's worth

I've also noticed that when the pages are loading slowly that it seems to be the connections to the non-pelican sites (Googleleads, doubleclick, etc.). Haven't paid real close attention, but based upon past experiences (former career), I doubt seriously if the Pelican servers are the culprit....LOTS going on behind the scene in order to load a single web page....YMMV.
