Thomas,
Coming to Tucson for Turkey Day to visit the Sister and can try to pull you out for a few hours of driving in the hills??!! Still have the cyl head temp sensor socket I borrowed from you and keep meaning to send back until the boss calls and says "lets go out of the country"... Let me know if I can help, I owe you ! Joe |

Hmmm: wonder what my wife would say about that! |
In laws lived with me and the family for a couple of years. Went well, but glad that time is done. Z Man is right on the money. Establish boundaries. Very important. Also, establish some territories so that everyone has some space of their own, or someplace they can go to when they need to. Get away alone and alone with the wife for dinner a couple of times a week. Tell them it's nothing personal, you just want to spend time alone with your blushing bride. Stay out until you can take some more.
Finally, can't you take the 5 year old for a drive and see if it will catch Porsche fever? If not, just scare her enough at some point that you can get her to behave just by looking at her fiercely. |
Either That
Or drop her off in the desert somewhere and make her a desert Kid. ;)
