Had a weird issue with my mouse cursor today

I'm running Vista Home Basic and have never really had any issues with it over the years until yesterday after a Windows update.

The mouse cursor would freeze and the only way I could resolve the situation was unplug my PC then plug it back in and restart. Then after I got everything back up and running it would happen again within' a 1/2 to 1 hour.

Efforts to troubleshoot include.....checked my driver, ran Malware, and CC Cleaner, checked the hardware, and finally because I ran out of ideas I went back to a restoration point (last Thursday) and thankfully that resolved the issue.

What a PITA though to have your mouse cursor just freeze right in the middle of something.

So for now I'm staying away from any Windows updates.
