Our new Prime Minister (Canada)

And his wife.

I hope he does OK, his old man was quite a character.

He certainly has great hair... let's just hope it isn't his most redeeming quality!

Things will keep on rolling on regardless of who is holding the reins.

His hair looks much more stylish than Harper's! I always thought Harper used the same hair mold as the original GI Joe!

Hope he does well for the whole country.

coffee out nose on that one.

I'm no expert on Canadian politics, but this election does say something about the will of the people. I sincerely hope that Canada continues to provide one of the better examples of reason and tolerance in the world.

Not to defend him but last year it was reported that 24 Sussex was a dump. It needed upgrades in HVAC, electrical, and asbestos removal among other things.

A major reno was in the works before the election.

Ya and when foreign dignitaries visit and stay in a dump it doesnt reflect well. Wonder how much has been spent on the white house...

Canadian taxpayers are losing more money on maintaining and heating costs because no PM has wanted to take the possible loss in support for performing NECESSARY repairs.

We are losing more money because nobody has done anything. Porsche owners should better understand preventative maintenance....

24 Sussex is a home.... Not like the White House.

So you guys think it NEEDS 10M in NECESSARY repairs?

this is the most polite version of PARF I've ever seen.

When do we get to the important issues: smoked meat and bagels in Montreal.

Yes. Probably $15M before they are done. I suspect it's quite necessary.

Feel free to ask in PARF....but I say yes he did. I'm not a fan of reduced freedom or unreasonable police powers. Harper sold a bill of goods based on fear and terrorist threats.
