Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter anyone watch?

My wife likes true crime tv shows. I generally don't but have started watching Lt. Kenda with her. It's actually a pretty interesting show about his career.

Anyone else watch it?

Love that show. I like how much hate he has for criminals.

Same thing here.

My wife is crazy for true crime shows. We have been watching Kenda and I do like him. He is a no BS guy and has no time to waste with criminals.

And guys, if I ever just vanish please ask the local police or Sheffie's department to look for my body under any new concrete at our house. My wife watches all the crime shows and is likely an expert on how to murder someone and get rid of the body. For sure she know what does not work!

And no I am not at all worried about her murdering me. She needs me to open pickle jars and take out the trash.

Glen-we joke about that, too.

I think his no BS demeanor is what drew me in to the show.

if you like true crime try "The First 48", covers the first 48 hours of investigation into homicides. Real cases, real detectives and always, real stupid people committing homicides for real stupid reasons.

I watch every week.

I'm still trying to find out how he got that scar on his nose.

My wife watches this as well. In fact, they filmed some footage in Flint recently. LOTS of homicides there.

Thanks for the tip. Have been big into Forensic files, Body of Evidence, 48 Hours (I think that's the name).

So just now, I go scan a Kenda episode on Youtube. Guy gets stabbed in the chest fifty squillion times. Blood everywhere causes the killers hand to slip down onto the kitchen knife and cuts him, probably badly.

So this makes me wince. Really? I can handle the murder but the murderers hand getting cut bothers me. Odd.

My better half likes watching 48 Hrs.
One episode that we were watching the lead detective was saying the cause of death was arsenic poisoning in his blood stream.
According to the detective arsenic is odorless and tasteless.
I looked at Lisa and said "Just like you're cooking".
Needless to say I ate out for a week.

He cooking might contain arsenic in the near future.

Have you seen the one where they show the cops doing the interrogations in real life of murderers? I can't remember the name, but it is truly awesome tv.

It also makes VERY clear why if you ever end up in police custody, you get an attorney. Immediately.
