Guy in the city drives up in front of whatever place and there is a big enough space that he can pull right in. Nose first. At speed.

I think I've heard it called Doris Day parking.

I stumbled upon the YouTube channel called CinemaSins and found it entertaining.

Of course, I suspend all reality when watching TV or movies.

Reality shows need you to suspend reality too.

Highly trained government agents with top of the line firearms that can't hit the bad guy from across the room with multiple shots.

How about car chase scenes were the car being chased can't shake or out run the far inferior vehicle?

TV shows where the straight person is always an idiot and the homosexual or lesbian is always the enlightened one.

Beer commercials with gorgeous bikini babes - do you think they got that figure chugging beer and, do you think they are attracted to a beer gut like yours?

There must be a law that any car crash in a movie is mandated to have the car explode.

Car chase scenes require running through a plate glass window and running over a fruit cart or bistro table.

The macho actor that can take brutal pounding in a fight but then winches when the girl cleans a cut.

Gratuitous nudity or profanity in a movie where it provides no added value to the plot.

Car chase scenes in which the bad guy's car hits another car (usually stationary) in such a way that would normally just be a nasty impact, but instead takes a leap and rolls like a stunt plane in mid-air before crashing down on its roof or one side. Yes, of course there was a ramp.

Similarly, any vehicle leap in a chase scene that would easily take out the oil pan and the front suspension, but the car remains completely viable for another mile or more.

^^^ Nice skidpan, bro!

Bullitt and The Blues Brothers are exempt from this criticism for obvious reasons.

They made some other cool stuff too..

Particularly the pickup truck/panel van/extra large SUV that can keep up/chase down a sports car.

Well, maybe it depends on who is driving? Think Nurburgring and Sabine in a Ford transit van versus most drivers in a sports car.

Comic book plots that are transfered to movie form. Plots that remind me of 8 year olds playing 'cops and robbers' or 'war'. Short on substance, they fill the time with ridiculous action sequences or endless gun battles. That covers about 98% of what's made today.
