fall on the same date namely November 11th. Watching Saving Private Ryan today reminds me of the pure hell our soldiers went through not only to win the war but also to benefit future generations namely us. I thank all those soldiers who fought for our freedom. Lest we forget....

I go back to the poem "In Flanders Fields". It make us remember what a long dead generation experienced. They were the original lost generation and it hurts to hear there lamentations. God bless them, every one.

Guy, I will remember too an effort long forgotten and largely ignored at Dieppe, thank the good Lord and apparently, the Queen, for Canada.

My grandfather passed away a year ago. He was a pilot in the Air Force (served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam) and had a full honors for the funeral. It was one of the most moving ceremony I've ever experienced. Ever since that day, I've been much more appreciative of veterans. Try to thank those in uniform I pass, pay for meals if they are in the restaurant.

Thank you Grandpa and all other veterans living and remembered.
