Where have these members contibuted their time for a meaningful time contribution?
I'm retired. Done all the work to all my properties. I'd like to contribute somehow. I am a Viet Nam infantry vet & thought maybe driving vets to the doc's might help, but can't stand war stories. How have you guys contributed?

Volunteer at your local VA hospital or clinic, they could use some help.
What kind of work did you do to your properties? You might be able to help local vets get their living spaces in better shape. Might be a local homeless shelter that could use some help too.

Retired and a Nam vet. Work 2-3 days a week at veterans facility called "Clearpath for veterans" as a volunteer. Did facilities management work for 30 years, helping them renovate and upgrade an older building for vets to do woodworking/art projects. Very satisfying work. Highly recommend volunteering your spare time in any capacity. No war stories b.s. at this facility thank goodness. That's why I never joined VFW or American Legion.
