I was going to post something but it would be a mute point here.

I had a friend that was always saying he was appost to do this or that instead of supposed.

I have heard the "all intensive purposes" many times here.

A regular one I see on THIS BOARD is "Brake Peddle" drives me to distraction.

I have also seem "break petal". That had me scratching my head for a bit.

A local radio station, when giving the winter road reports had an announcer who would advise some roads were "possible with caution" instead of passable. It sort of worked.

Another one from a a mechanic about 20 years ago, "had to replace the Cadillac converter."
I suppose it cost enough.

The guy spent some time with Google and admitted he'd had it wrong all of his life. This is someone who's college educated and over 50 years old.
