Looks reasonable to me. Someone with a drive train could make a nice car of it, I think. IMO

It looks like the starting bid is $10K.....not $16K, and the paint isn't too bad, but the interior could use some work. It's not a project I would want, but I bet it will sell, I think the starting price is the owner fishing for what it might be worth.....someone might bite.

I missed out on seeing the what the excitement was all about, but I'm assuming it was a car that we all know the approximate value of that was wildly overpriced.

So, I'll speculate further that maybe the premium comes from being owned by someone famous, like, oh, say, John Voight!

Al is the dishonest rich cousin you're ashamed of because he has no morals and he thinks the center of the earth is several million degrees F.

I'm Al, and don't get anything for free around here.

But only a Richard would start a thread, with a confrontational title, then delete it when the conversation doesn't go his way.

Post at 4:48 AM, angry edit at 6:11 AM after four replies. Maybe an all time record for thread train-wreck?

Good going !
A perfectly good conversation is doomed from the peanut gallery.
They have zero for clues about anything other than what they were told to say by some news / late night show host.

The most hilarious thing said in a thread that is pretty funny to start with.

Not smart, just experienced. First, you have to remember it's not meant to be coherent - it's just a string of verbal emoting. If you try and make logical sense of it, you're never going to get a grasp on the gestalt of the individual posts. If you string them all together, it begins to make a weird sort of sense. Try reading the posts as though they were being said by a guy who's been at the bar for three hours already, working on his sixth well drink, and he's just about pissed off at everyone and everything.

Frame it like that, and it will all come into focus.

speeder 12-02-2015 12:19 PM

I like to imagine it like little Timmy has fallen into the well and I'm Lassie, trying to understand his cries for help.

Of course! Souvenirs of monuments. Not Monumental sized souvenirs.

Semantics are your playground, Cashflyer! I totally missed the nuance!

(Celsius? Really?)

5 AM whiskey is an ugly thing.

That's an internet photo of a souvenir postcard of a monument to brainless quips.

Many of us get up by 4 am after sleeping all night, as A-posed to staying up all night drinking.
He coulda been up an hour already and over-dooooing the java. BTDT!
