Crazy seeing my old neighborhood under those circumstances. It terminated about 4 blocks south of a home I own on 80th. There is a day care in the synagogue right across the street. SOB got what he deserved.

I know that area well. Crazy congested part of the U district. My daughter lived right near there during college. Very lucky there weren't bystanders hurt. He got what he deserved!

I'm always wondering about these high speed chases. What is the theory behind having to catch the perp at all cost? At least if it starts with an auto theft. You could have several bystanders / folks in traffic dead by pushing the guy. Often they know who they are chasing and can get them later without a car chase. Maybe I am missing something.

Those cops weren't messing around. Was it all pistol shots? LAPD would have had rifles and 800 shots fired. ;)

The girl was long gone before they opened up, looked to me like they held fire while she was bolting, then turned the guy into hamburger.
