I'm glad my 2-stroke days are over. Who in their right mind removes a cylinder and head at least once every race weekend!

I bet if your kart was a 250 4t then you'd be replacing valves, rings and lapping valve seats every race weekend. So which you'd rather work on every week?

Professional motocross race teams has their 250 4t engines rebuilt every weekend. One of the top engine builders says that cost of rebuilding 4t engines has gone up by 10 times comparing to 2t.
