Not many UFC discussions here on Pelican. Perhaps one of the biggest fights ever is going down this weekend at UFC 194. Featherweight's Jose Aldo and Connor McGregor.

UFC 194: Aldo vs McGregor

We first saw Aldo in the WEC and he was dominant. Since merging with UFC he remains unbeaten. I think his recent fights have been less convincing but he has tremendous skills and power. McGregor should be fighting Lightweight but manages to get to 145. He is very polarizing in the media - loved and hated equally.

Personally I would like to see JA take this in a very brutal fashion - hobble CM with leg kicks from hell then KO. But I won't be shocked to see CM continue his climb and come away with the belt.

I watch them but no longer will pay for them.
I have seen fights called too short (wrong stoppage )
Also saw Mcgreger beat Chad mendaze on the top of the head. No call on that one.
AFAIC some of these are very fixed. Like the first Hendricks / St pierrie fight.
How could Hendricks possibly have lost that?
george was so beat up so bad he retired.

Mc Gregor will beat Aldo EZ ..unless its fixed for more money in the rematch

Aldo is getting up there in age but still a dominant fighter. I'm hoping he kicks CM's big mouth but I'm afraid CM has gotten to his head. We'll know if that has happened just before they touch gloves. If Aldo looks up at CM, which he's never done with previous fights, he'll end up fighting CM's fight which will mean trouble for Aldo.
