Xmas list price check - spoon related

So, a family member has an 8 capacity mag for a ruger 1911 .45 caliber.

No clue what I'm looking at. What are some options? Thoughts?

IMO, Wilson and McCormick are the gold standards for 1911 mags, with my preference being the former.

Either of these should do the trick:

Wilson 8 rounder

McCormick 8 rounder

Never had an issue with the factory mag my Rock Island came with (Novak). Never had an issue with the 8 or 10 round McCormicks I got.

Major issues with a Kimber branded mag, feeding wise.

Had a ProMag 7 rounder, inserted and fed just fine but required tools to eject/remove when empty.
