Xmas list price check - spoon related
So, a family member has an 8 capacity mag for a ruger 1911 .45 caliber.
No clue what I'm looking at. What are some options? Thoughts? |

IMO, Wilson and McCormick are the gold standards for 1911 mags, with my preference being the former.
Either of these should do the trick: Wilson 8 rounder McCormick 8 rounder |

Never had an issue with the factory mag my Rock Island came with (Novak). Never had an issue with the 8 or 10 round McCormicks I got.
Major issues with a Kimber branded mag, feeding wise. Had a ProMag 7 rounder, inserted and fed just fine but required tools to eject/remove when empty. |
