2 x classic wagon questions
Hi all,
As per the title, I have a couple of classic wagon questions. First up, what are some good for sale websites for 60/70's USA cars? There is a fair amount on ebay but I'm assuming there are better dedicated sites out there. Googling simply produces a huge site list. Secondly, I have taken a liking to Nova wagons. What other options are out there in a similar "mid size" format? I'm based in Australia so a little unfamiliar with this period of USA cars.

Malibu station wagons are really cool (think Chevelle styling) and also Ford Falcon wagons can be made to look awesome. Plymouth Volare mid 70s wagons have some style also.

For me, go to is C/L and setup email alerts with that keyword in surrounding areas - then Ebay.....
Know that wagons address a very small segment of the market and therefor the hold / resale value is not that great even with very nicely done Patina'd or Pro-Tour styles.............If you want one that's great, but be realistic if / when there comes a time to sell.

When I was a kid, my father liked Ford Wagon to carry the 7 of us......Sometimes the rear seat faced forward, sometimes it faced for a view out the rear.......Recall '56 with a 312/4 barrel and later a '62........

Novas are relatively small wagons. I would think that a Vista Cruiser would not be nearly as small or cool as a Chevy II Nova wagon. Chevelle/Malibu wagon would probably be the next closest in the Chevy line up.
Falcon wagon would probably be very similar. Some of the full sizes might be cool, but they would also be big. I'm not sure that there were that many smallish wagons back then, but then I was very small or not quite born myself in those times.

I believe the Chevy wagons could be had as 9 passenger Parkwoods and Park Lane was a dealer.
This is a pretty nice set up: ![]()

There is a Park Lane chevy dealer out there in Ontario, Canada and there was a Mercury Parklane but chevy wagon's were offered in with a Parkwood option. It's pretty meaningless stuff overall but looking for a chevy parklane wagon is tough sledding!

This rambler is similar size and is mid 60s. Quite a styling excersize .
Not considered cool at the time, now looks interesting. The 55/56 Chevy nomad is one very cool wagon of an earlier area but is priced accordingly Not sure if Chevy made a corvair MONZA wagon, but with aircooled rear engine it would be worth a look. Cheers Richard |

What about a Jeep Grand Wagoneer? It hails from the 60s, but was available until 1991. It is modern retro and cool with the fake wood siding, like a Country Squire wagon, or a Woody. It is a 4x4 so it can take you anywhere in the outback.
