Somalia and NY Schools have much in common

Two places banned Christmas this year (I am sure there are more places but these two stand out) Somalia and a school in Brooklyn.
We have officially become a dictatorship where those who are "in charge" make the rules that they themselves live by and could care less about others. We are now no better than a third world country.

One of many reasons why my kids go to a Catholic school is so they can still celebrate Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Eff political correctness.

On no please don't send this to PARF I am scared of that. Why do you think I would care where this ended up? Does it change the fact that a school principal in charge of young people has the same ideals as a dictator in Somalia? Do you have an opinion on the facts as stated?

My kid goes to a public school. They acknowledge all the major holidays. One school in an ultra-liberal place like NYC does not exactly make a movement....

The United States is overwhelmingly Christian. One school's actions do not prove that there is a war on Christmas. It does make for startling cable news stories every year however.

I never stated nor insinuated that there was a war on Christmas if you read the article she also banned Thanksgiving celebrations and the pledge of allegiance. My point is that one persons beliefs should not cancel out the beliefs of others. As a principal in a heavily diverse school she should teach the children tolerance and acceptance of other cultures.
