What's a Good (Excellent) FM Antenna?
Had a re-roof done recently so my HD antenna is out in the yard doing its best to bring some easy listening music from Prescott, AZ...110 miles away.
Methinks I need an FM rig...maybe an omni? But then I may just put a roto on the mast before I mount her back up... (but after I fix my shower drain back-up issue. Could those orange trees in the background be eating through my pipes? Oops, wrong thread.  ). Will I get better reception with a directional over an omni? Any suggestions, wisdom heads? . Somewhere around or below $100??? . Don't laugh at my antenna...I'm just an old fart trying to his best. . ~~~~~

Now that I look at that photo...maybe if I just put her back up she'll pull in Prescott. (?)
Appears that my house is blocking the FM signal...but y'all will know.

Just start listing to RAP or New Age. I bet there are lots of stations streaming that!
 Have you tried a service like Pandora. Just pick a favorite artist and it will find more that you will like. Welcome to 2016!

102.1 in Prescott has the music genre I want.
Phoenix has one Jazz (phooey) station and one classical (phooey, cubed) station. All others are modreen noisy music. I'll figure it out...I've been to college.

We had an old Weingard antenna like yours Don, sitting on our roof. Last time we had the roofer out to check for leaks he asked if he could have it. I gave it too him as all it was doing was collecting leaves up there. His biggest problem was getting it down as it was about 12' long.
Pandora is your friend as long as you can pipe it thru decent speakers.

I am a big fan of Pandora (listening to it here right now at work)
You could try iheart radio app for local radio but on my funky old phone it buffers too much.

Looks like your station is available on the "Tunein" app......(Unless this ended Sept 14 also?).....I have it on my tablet, you can stream over your computer also:
