PCA Online Surveys

Anyone take the PCA newsletter surveys? Anyone win anything in the drawings for survey participation? Seems like two data-mining questions followed by a third somewhat less 'data-miney' question.

I just took two. Honestly, I didn't read the privacy policy. My email may very well be sold to someone who sells homeowner's insurance or tires.

They already have my DOB.

I hate surveys that promise a prize to one (or more) lucky winner. I never win anything so I know that part is a lost cause. Few surveys really ask a important questions. I just delete any email that wants a survey.

I delete them too. Along with all of the needy reviews for anything I buy online.

I usually ignore them too, however I have been on the other end of them in that the program I run at work sends out a survey to customers who participate. I actually really appreciate customers who respond, not because I get valuable info from them, but since I usually get good reviews, management gets off my back when they see customers are happy with the program. Stupid that they need reinforcement besides what they hear and what I tell them, but thats how it goes.

According to a recent letter I received it appears I may already be a winner according to Publishers Clearinghouse . I'm sure someone wins something but it's the data collection they get that is valuable to them regardless of who " them " is .

Yeah, I'm sure PCA gets a $$$ kick-back from the survey company they contract with.
