In a perfect world I would like something like the Blendmount but just with a flat shelf. The V1 visor mount could slip onto the flat shelf. It could be tight up under the mirror and just slip off for easy removal. Hard to explain but I'm sure most of you get it. And be less expensive !

^ I used the coil cord to clean up the look. Also, I can vary the position of the radar detector on the windshield. I find that a higher location above the mirror is sometimes better.

I have the Blendmount hardwired and like it a lot. It's tidy and I got used the the location within minutes.
