Inversion Table
Anyone have one?
Love mine. Been sitting all day, feeling "compressed". Just went for a hang. Feels great.

Bought mine at Big 5 Sporting Goods on sale for $99 + tax 3 years ago.
The ones (one) advertised on TV is way over priced. The 70+ year old Teeterman who jumps up in orgasmic glee. Had to assemble mine. Load capacity 270 lbs. and super adjustable in all ways. I ought to get on it every day but I only do when my back calls out for it. My g/f loves it...she has back/spine issues. . When I played USTA tournament tennis, a hundred years ago, I used gravity boots and hung from my chin-up bar. Was helpful. Those boots are still around here somewhere.

I had to google that. In New Zealand we don't have big words like inversion.
I've been using gravity boots for about 12 years. They really work for me. My own body weight seems just about right to stretch out my spine. Occasionally I get a bit of a clunk and away goes the sciatic nerve pain. |

I've always wanted to try one. My back problem has been described as a slipped rib, not sure if inversion is enough for me.

Right below your shoulder blade? I used to get them all the time. Hurts like a mother f'n mother f'r. What solved it for me was a neck pillow. For real, was at a conference and in pain, one of the girls there told me to try one of these. ![]() Few months later I'm at Costco and they had them on sale so figured why not. Have not had an episode in 15 years. I actually have a few now including one that I travel with. Takes a bit to get used to but once you do you'll never sleep on anything else.

My dad has had one for probably 15 years, and uses his several days a week for 5 minute hangs. 10 years ago I tweaked my lower back and could barely move, so I went over and tried his...a few days and I was sold
. A coworker had serious upper back issues, but the table didn't help his situation, so I purchased his really nice one for 150 bucks and use it on occasion when I injure mine. Hurt mine a few months back wrestling with a large outboard lower unit in an awkward position...right between the shoulder blades....didn't use the IT...wasn't gonna help. So...it just depends...I love mine!

Bought one for the same reasons as above - I use it less than I should but it does work

I like the inversion table, use it often. The big exercise ball is also good. Careful with the inversion table if you have disc problems.

I have the ball and started using it for a computer chair. I also liked using the Total Gym for core strength(yoga+weightlifting+aerobic).
