Alex, you should post a "before and after".

From your OP to the result is really something. I'd hit it:)

Alex, how does the gloss and depth of the finish compare? I've never really looked closely at a super high quality wrap.

2porscheguy 04-04-2016 12:56 PM

I'd say pretty good Matt! But if you look really closely at the corners, especially around the rear deck in front of the wing where the gaps are small, you could convince yourself that it is a wrap film and not paint. The car's at home but I'm not so I can't show you at this time.

I love the "Be See'n Ya" plate. Very creative.

I just got mine (the sickeningly proud new grandpa :D)

That's great Craig!

But doesn't that scare the chicks away?!?

Actually surprisingly a lot of people don't get the
BCN YAH!

This is my '80 SC:

I thought it was great. Got it right away.

BTW...I can hardly afford the two chicks I have now. A third would break me.

SC Targa. Nice!

Do it! I used to not be a fan, but the vinyl has gotten really good in recent years! And on a car that nice, please pay someone. I have years of experience applying vinyl, and I thought wrapping a 930 was a major pain in the ass and I wasn't happy with how it turned out.

After some 2 months the only issue that I've experienced with the wrap is that it did lift a little bit under the right side of the rear wing. I brought her in and it was quickly dealt with this am. The guys at Maxpo here in Calgary do offer top notch service!

Cheers!

Alex,

De toute beauté...

13 months to go and the rat race will be over so I'll have all kind of time on my hands :D:):D. Thinking of doing mine staying with the black and white theme.

How is the work on the SC coming along? :D:):D
