rubber grip type, shelf liner. how to remove residue?

^^^ that crap. pulled it off my shelves and it left a bumpy !$#!@#$!@#$!#$ nightmare.

and DONT say goo-gone. it didnt work at all. personally i cant remember goo-gone EVER working for me, on anything.

i'm thinking electric sander, with 100 grit and a dust mask..and going to town and a quick repaint?

anyone have a magic, unicorn urine elixir that just sprays on a wipes off bad decisions and mistakes?

3M adhesive remover. Comes in a white spray can. Best stuff ever.

Contact cement remover might work.

WD 40, goof off or any of the other citrus based adhesive removers smell better and work as well. May need to lay a paper towel in there that is sort of saturated and let it sit to soften it up

Goo gone/goof off - I don't remember which comes in the metal can instead of plastic - but be careful as it will eat plastic as well as eat through paint. I'd try WD40 as suggested above.

Wd40 was my lead off attempt. Fail. My kitchen did smell great tho. All healthy smelling.

What kind of material are the drawer bottoms or shelfs made of? We always use lacquer thinner with great result, but it will fog up lacquer if left on for too long. if its melamine, or P-lam, then scrap it off with a razor blade then lacquer thinner.

Oh no. It might easier and faster to do a little sanding and repaint it. Go get some turkey. Let you wife do some work for once.
