Sadly, today was my turn
 

My beautiful sweet girl crossed the rainbow bridge at about 6 am this morning. She was fine right up to around 5pm last night. She died peacefully, before the Vet could help her along. I am rather heartbroken at the moment. She gave my family and I 13 years of love....I wish it could have been forever.

Every now and then I have a dream so real and it always has one of my gone but not forgotten dogs in it. I think they are just paying a visit to see how I'm doing. :)

My sincere condolences...such a good girl.

When my last dog went, I missed him more than many of the humans I know. I understand your grief. I just gave my lab an ear scratch to celebrate the dog-human bond. It gets better.
