Paul Walker (Fast and Furious actor) dies in Porsche
There are conflicting reports that he lost control or someone made him lose control and slammed into a tree and his Porsche burst into flames. Not a huge fan of the Fast and Furious movies but 40 is still pretty darn young. Article says he was in a Porsche GT (not sure which model they are talking about?) and he was giving rides to fans to raise money for the Philippines. Still unclear if the crash occurred on one of these rides or it was just in the same car.

Right up the road from Hugh's place, I think.
Young guy dead, left a teenaged kid. Did not care for his movies all that much, but seemed like a nice young man in interviews I have seen.

I could be wrong, but I remember him owning a race team and being quite a philanthropist.

Despite making car enthusiasts look like criminals, he did a lot of good. RIP.

Very sad loss. Someone using their fame to give back to the world and dies unexpectedly. Condolences to the family and friends left behind.
