Everything! Figure I'd have to get abducted by aliens for a couple of months before I'd truly be appreciated.

Tune my guitar / bass before I play.
Rev match or double clutch when I shift. Clean up after others at work. Make fun of people who don't notice because they are too self absorbed. Crop dust. |
Not a biggie, but I pick up snails off the footpath and put them over the fence. It's so sad seeing the little fellas knowing they won't survive the day if I don't.

The OCD is strong with these ones. :)

I have never heard of anybody aligning the screws on light switches before. You guys are whack!

I have a 4 gang switch plate. I'll go take a pic of it in the morning for you guys. ;)
I don't have the time to worry about which way they are pointing. As long as all the screws are the same color. I call it good! |
I hide miniature army men in the garden. It's a talisman thing.

Years ago, when I was a young buck, we put in a kitchen for this old(er) lady. She was nice, but extremely OCD (met my match), so was I. The one thing I did not do was to align the screw on the switch plates. When I showed up the next day, she had it all horizontally lined up. Even since then, I make it a point to not align them purposely. I think it look so tacky or mechanical. One thing I still do is to cut a piece of feeler gauge to test all my cabinet doors. Before, I show up for the final, my guys already have a little stick already ready for me. They all roll their eyes. Knowing they are perfect and adjusted by them, I have to scratch that OCD itch. I sent their assses off to lunch just to run the lil' stick of wood through all the gaps of the doors. This crap is not for the client my boys or anyone else, its for me. If I don't do this on every job, I go freaking bonkers on my drive home.
I used to step on all the concrete joints on the sidewalk with each of my foot on alternation joints on the way to school or where ever there are joints. If I missed one, I MUST go back and step on that joint with that particular foot or else. I outgrew that in the past 10-15 years, but there are times I still find myself doing it sometimes without knowing it. Being a perfectionist is a real btich. I feel like I chase my tail all the time (with a certain things anyway). |

I also count the clicks on my seat for those time if someone moves it. Not a big fan of electric seats but love the "Put the goddamn seat back to last position magic button". They designed that little button for me:D. I know the designers in Detroit must have heard me swearing from CA. |
We don't need to talk about my bicycles. All my bikes are set up exactly the same way. They fit me like an extension of my arms. Forget it, I don't loan them out. They can ride them around the block, but that's it. I have an old rusty one that I loan out to visiting relatives if they want to take it out to the beach. Its sitting in the basement of my parent's house. Make all the damn adjustment to the seat, handle bar they want on it. I don't care.

All my notes go into my wallet oriented in exactly the same way.
Shirts in my cupboard hang in order of colour. If multiples of anything are stacked into cupboards or onto shelves they are always oriented in exactly the same manner. Tubes get squeezed from the bottom. |
I never do the same thing twice in a row.

I do have somewhat of a routine throughout the day, but it is more aligned with the efficient way of doing things, not some mental tick that must be done to continue. |
Actually if I disclosed all my quirks I am sure it would be met with scorn, condemnation, and ridiculed and be judged but safe to say there is a very long list of some very strange actions that are rooted in complete dysfunction and a very loose grasp on reality...

I always refill the Kuerig when the low water light is blinking.
Add me to the switch plate screw alignment club. |
