bought a bmw 335d toady

Just bought a BMW335d today from Bill Pearce Motors in Reno. Seen the car on-line on Wednesday, the first day on-line with only the stock picture and immediately called. The car came from the BMW dealership in Walnut Creek with 52k miles. So, I went there today and it hadn't gone through the shop for inspection or detail. They're selling it to me for $17995 if the inspection goes well as a Preowned BMW with a 2 year 100,000k warrantee. The big selling points besides the low mileage, price and warrantee are it's a local deal and Bill Pearce has great service.

Will pick up the car next week end. I've been looking at the 335d's for 8 months. No pictures yet until I pick it up .

No, I haven't even drove this one. The dealership has to inspect first. It will be BMW pre owned and certified when I pick it up next week end. Needed some thing fun to drive to my sisters house in Montana and Giants games. The Porsche has gone up in value so much, I only drive on nice days spring through fall.

That's the car but, with a stock picture. The car I bought is meteoric gray with an off white Dakota leather interior. The pic is gray with black interior. The description says synthetic or vinyl interior.

Are you sure they can do a CPO on that car? IIRC, the specs for CPO is it had to have less than 50k, and be less than 2 years out of warranty.

Watch for carbon build up in intake manifold. Look it up

Sold my BMW 2011 BMW 335d only 60k miles $16k

Great gas mileage and power.

Unless you have a warranty the entire time you own the car. Walk.

I know, right? My F150 has the small Ecoboost, and I love the rush of the turbos. Can't stay on the boost long though, without serious disregard for speed limits.

I love turbo diesel, had a Mazda that ran 268000 miles. And now my Ford Focus is on 235000, but won't be buying another as in the UK the Government is going to make it very hard( ie expensive) to own a diesel due to the pollution so caused.

Wife has the X5 35d. Really peppy. In a 3 series should be fun. Minimal turbo lag. Doesn't sound like a diesel from inside.

The first thing I will asked the salesman when I pick up the car is how do use the cruise control.

My wife DD's an '07 335Xi. Fantastic car- did a few mods (black grilles, wheels & a very slim spoiler that was put on after this photo was taken). Sadly the twin turbos are the weak point of the petrol version, hopefully not the diesel.

She really wanted a stick, but we couldn't find one. I was able to track one down with everything else she wanted though- included the brushed steel look dash, as opposed to the 'old guy' plastic wood.
