I don't see a problem - some highly skilled driving if you ask me. :)

Living in Palm Desert, we are invaded every winter by "snowbirds" from Canada. Not the feathered type! For 5 months out of the year the population more than doubles and major collisions are a daily thing. 90% of the time a Canadian motorist is involved. It's a fact they bring in millions of dollars to the desert cities economy.....but they simply don't know how to drive! We are just now seeing the exodus of 45 foot motorhomes towing their tahoes behind. Finally.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Our friend that is a food server at a very high end restaurant in Palm Springs says the canadians are the worst tippers ever!!

Please let's not make this an American vs Canadian thing as we see a ton of a-hole drivers "up here" during the summer months from.....(fill in the blanks)...

I'll repeat your initial statement and leave it at that!

There's an abundance of a-hole drivers everywhere!

and the absolute worst drivers are from Alberta.

So I just got back from the same drive today 3 hours each way, now it was the best drive on the QE2 I've every had, everyone stayed in the right lane except to pass; it was a good drive. I have to say with direct knowledge I can't see this possible in a normal situation, max distance between cars passing is about 4-5 feet unless this was staged... You (both cars) would have to be at extreme sides of the roads to make this possible and there is rumble strips on the left (fast lane side) so unless there was a perfect sequence of events I call BS.

Sorry if the truth hits home, but I'm tired of it. Last weekend a car runs a stop sign and turns right in front of me. I hit my brakes hard to keep from hitting him and lay on my horn and he gives me the finger. Alberta plates!
I live here full time all year long and I'm tired of accommodating part time inconsiderate buttwipes that come in and complain about everything and make sure they let the locals know that canadians do everything better. Pretty much every local dreads the winter months because of the invasion.

Just another day, driving in So. Sacramento / Elk Grove...........we've got no police enforcing traffic laws...

Rob, I'm sorry to hear of your recent experience with some ahole running a stop sign...and yes, that guy is an Alberta azzhole...and I'm glad you're OK. But the TRUTH is that there are Ahole drivers everywhere.

I was in AZ last November for our annual boys golf trip. I thought distracted driving was bad in Calgary?!?.....fuchen way worse around Phoenix! I swear that every third driver has a fachen phone glued to their ear! Just after our arrival at PHX we headed south on I-10 in our buddy's minivan (with AB plates!....he's a snowbird!) headed towards Tucson when this older broad in a white convertible BMW with those nice colourful AZ plates, proceeds to cut across 4 lanes of traffic, doing maybe 45, no signal, no shoulder check, yacking away on the godamm cellphone...totally oblivious to all other drivers....almost taking us out in the process! Now, do I dare declare that...."the absolute worse drivers are from Arizona!"......hell no!....I see em everywhere!

Shyte, have you ever been to Portugal? The STOP signs should be painted green there 'cause everybody flies through them....the STOP is merely a recommendation or at best a very passive suggestion!

I've been to Palm Springs and area many times and never, ever have I once felt any animosity or resentment there from the locals! In fact, always the opposite! There's some really nice genuine folks down there, but then again.......I tip really well!

That video couldn't possibly have been staged... No way, not possible... I have a completely different take on that video:

As far as I can tell, someone's town ran out of the finest Canadian beer, Labatt Blue, during the hockey pre-game show. There was only one case left in a 200km radius.

In the end, the infinity driver got the last case of Labatt Blue. His wife' being most pleased watched the hockey game with him doggie-style.

The other guy (who was videoing and deployed the two blockers in front) was not as fortunate. He had to settle for a case of Molson Golden. His wife' was not pleased and watched the hockey game in the other room. Leaving him with Rosie and her five sisters.

Now if you will excuse me, there is a Labatt or six with my name on it somewhere in this house......
