Weather is fantastic! Holy moly it feels great up there. A lot of brown. Does ABQ have an aversion to color? It's literally in the middle of nowhere. Food choices are definitely not great. I LOATHE southwestern fare. It's a very small town. Driving around town is a breeze! Won't have any road rages there!! It appears to be a really poor state...I drove around to Las Cruces & White Sands. While I love the idea of having seasons and snow and no humidity...I need to go to the beach as soon as I get home. I'll agree with another poster. I wouldn't mind being landlocked if ABQ looked more like Calgary and the Canadian Rockies. Did I mention that it's super brown? I didn't hate it, but I don't think it's for me. I don't see myself being there for longer than a year or two and that shouldn't be among your first thoughts when considering a place to live and work. |

I had a spot of work in ABQ awhile back. Spent an afternoon at THIS place:
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History Such a COOL, completely geeky place. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I'm also a Breaking Bad fan. They have "Breaking Bad" tours. Plenty of cool, off-the-wall things to do in ABQ! angela
