The gratuitous "someone needlessly hangs of an impossible ledge by one hand" gag. All the camera angles are all fast and furious like. Pointless motorcycle jumps. Kung fu fight scenes. All it was missing was Vin Diesel Okay, Okay, I must be an old fart. I will go sulk now |

I liked the first two "new" Star Treks w/ this cast. Trailer doesn't look bad at all.
Unfortunately since being a Star Trek fan is a "lifestyle" no matter what movie they make all those comic book reading spock ear wearing living in Mom's basement posting in the CNN comments section in their underwear folks are going to hate it.

I hope they don't F up the film with this fast flash card action. I like seeing the kung fu and stunts at a reasonable viewing speed. |

I will see it when it is available on one of the streaming services.
It looks very F&F in the trailer. Maybe the whole thing won't be so bad. Into Darkness wasn't all that great. Star Trek wasn't all that bad. I am sensing a trend.

It's Sabotage by the Beastie Boys. Was used in the first reboot Star Trek movie where James Kirk steals that Corvette. Maybe some kind of connection, who knows.
