I just saw Steely Dan at Jazz Fest, and Walter Becker gave the longest and most boring rap as a ' warm up" in the middle of the song….then Donald Fagen sang...the Cuervo Gold and fine Columbian line..and it did bring me right back to the 80's.

Tequila is to be sipped like cognac or good whiskey, never like a shot... just like you I got sick with tequila when I turned 18 and for years didn't touch it, but now I really-really enjoy tequila..

Not sure I would go for the black label stuff... however Hornitos makes a tasty high end gold tequila (look for 100% agave on the label)... but be beware they also make a low end tequila that is only suitable for margaritas.

Tres Generations is good medium price Tequila too...

the Tequila Ocho is fantastic. i dont even have any more whiskey..i just sip the tequila.. it has the tequila flavor, but it is sipping just like a whiskey.

i'm loving it.
