Aluminum Wheels
Picked up a 2005 Suburban and the Aluminum wheels have a slight chalky appearance. Short of doing serious metal refinishing is there any product out there that ill help to rid that dull finish?? I think there is a coating on these wheels.

Probably a clear coat. Try waxing them by hand.

Ditto on a fading clear coat. It probably needs to be stripped and refinished. Around here our local Alloy Wheel Repair does great work that typically isn't more than $100/wheel. He's a PCA guy that has a Boxster and races a 944, so I like to help support his habits.
