New Ford GT
So much demand so little supply. Ford is done taking over 6500 applicants and some of these applicants are making videos to convince why they should be granted to own one. Some douchy some cool videos. Link below:

The dealer I bought my Mustang from has a 2005 GT. He doesn't think he will get a new GT. Ford has stated they want them driven, visible, and in the hands of people who will influence other people to buy Fords. He meets all three criteria, but he feels that being located in El Paso, IL, doesn't make him influential enough.

Ford really hit a home run with the current iteration of Mustang.
The "base" version has more HP than a GT/5.0 of 20 years ago. The EcoBoost is a great compromise between power and handling. The GT/5.0 is insane. Still handles very well. The GT350 is insanity on steroids, LSD, and cocaine. You are basically in entry-level supercar territory with this one. All are available with a manual (though the GT350 isn't available with an automatic). All but the base have some serious performance options available. You can build a road racer or a drag car out of any of them.

Is that the truth? Is there huge demand or very limited supply - or both?
Ford finally wised up and offered right-hand drive. I've heard sales in Europe are strong as well.

I can't wait for the GT350 to depreciate.

The GT looks amazing and should make some crazy power with some Mods. Hopefully one of our customers gets one and brings it in!

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say Jay Leno is on the GT customer list.

There's a chance they never will. The last generation GT has never depreciated. If the market deems the GT350 to be an "instant classic", it's selling price new might be it's lowest price.

They are still offering incentives OF $1500 off the 2016's up here. The 350 is listing about $74k. Last month A 2015 GT was $35K marked down from $48K

I did a search - in March of this year Ford sold more Mustangs in Germany than Porsche sold 911s (in Germany). And most of them are V8s over the turbo four.

You are talking Ford GT, right? I suspect their numbers will be limited enough that they will appreciate, just like the previous Ford GT. Any endurance racing success will only fuel the fire. But they will make enough of the Mustang GT350 that they will eventually become reasonable. Just look at selling prices for the previous generation GT500 or Boss 302, the Boss in particular is getting very affordable.

I was talking GT350, using the GT as an example.
No the GT350 is no GT, but the flat-plane crankshaft may keep that car out of the hands of us plebes. If they come down in price, I'll try to get my hands on one.

If I remember correctly, production volumes increase substantially in 2017. Which is exactly what they did with the Boss and GT500, both of which also had premiums when introduced.
