Simple Solutions to Everyday Problems
While sorting the lost sock pile, a very simple solution presented itself to reduce if not eliminate the problem of lost or mismatched socks (provided you want to wear socks). When buying a pair, buy 3 pairs. You will end up losing one, then a few months later another but you will have 2 pair.
Losing weight - don't eat so much. Reduce gossiping - ignore those that do, simply walk away. Quit smoking - stop smoking. Just stop altogether. Get your kids to listen - have them repeat what you told them and have them commit to the every minute it will be complete, don't quit until these 2 parts are achieved. Change the government - get involved. Have more money - spend less or earn more or both. Ok, now post your bits of wisdom...

My sock solution is to just buy them all the same, about thirty pairs of white ones, then you never even match them- toss 'em in the drawer. The old ones make great applicators for tire cleaner and "Armor All."
Same thing with dress socks, just buy all the same in each color you wear. Old ones are rags.
