Didn't ask for any security or anything. I don't think he even knew my name. Both were nice cars, but the best bit about the day was this guy.

When I was about 18 in the late 1990s and working at a country club for the Summer, a local doctor bought a new-ish 993 Cab. I was already very into Porsches at that point, and was less than a year away from buying my first. I was admiring his car one day on my way out of work as he was heading out to golf. We got to chatting and he gave me the keys, saying only, "take it out for a half hour or so. Just leave the keys with the clubhouse guys." That was a memorable afternoon.
