What if the water had risen higher than the "dam?" Well, he took his best shot and it worked... very cool, IMO.

AFter all these floods of Biblical proportions around here, I would think a lot of homeowners along the Brazos and other rivers may be inquiring into those. Certainly less expensive than rebuilding your house ?

That's pretty cool. $8k is way cheaper than rebuilding your home.
