But of course one law breaker does not give truck driver the right to break the law also and cause a wreck. Truck diver should have not got so upset of a law breaker or at the very lease a very poor driver, tailgating is also illegal.

I have come very close to wrecking a drunk, once he got off the divided highway he could go head on into another car and kill someone.

Maybe not the situation here, but sometimes a wreck is justified. This video is super short with no context.

He could have been in the middle lane for some time and come up behind the other vehicle, signaled and pulled out in a perfectly legal manor. We don't know what the closing speed of the truck was. If he was seriously booking the guy could not have realized the closing speed.

I'm not saying he's totally in the right, but the video doesn't start soon enough to show the whole story. Heck it could be the other way around, he could have just passed the truck on the right, pulled back in front then brake checked him. No one watching the video knows.

No matter. Two, three, four or more wrongs still don't make a right. The truck guy shouldn't have done it and needs to be punished.

Remind me never to let my wife see this for the times I've lost my cool and flipped off an A-hole, she's always telling me that I don't know if the other guy is nuts or carrying and she's right.

I agree - video is too short for us to know. I think the comment of the video car's driver might imply that the car did something serious to the truck to initiate things.

Having PTSD, I don't mess with people, because I am too well aware of what people are capable of when you push them. There are lots of people out there who are far crazier that I ever was. But trust me when I tell you that some people go absolutely out of their minds with the right provocation.

Let's be careful out there for sure.

A semantic point, but an improtant one: this was not an "accident" - it was a deliberate act of violence.
