Yardwork

In a garden, or any other mimicry of nature, there must be at least one place to go. That place must entice, and beckon one to go.

That place thus forces the observer to enter into, rather than observe, the intended effect.

Even a great hawk of the sea, or a simple man named Paul, understands this.

What color is the sky in the garden in your world?
I'm thinking a bowl of decadent chocolate ice cream sounds good about now.

Yardwork at my home is at a new all-time low this year.

In other news, my blackberry crop is booming.

You are making a garden in your mind. Keep weeding. You haven't reached the intended effect.

Haven't got sick once

It's a young mans job and I ain't.....slow & semi-steady......I haven't hurt myself yet.
If I can get my chain saw working, I'll be finished before August.

haha.

reminds me of a nugget my friends mom dropped on me:

if you shake a jar full of pennies, it makes more noise than a jar full of dollar bills.

LOL - it's all good, buddy, just yanking your chain!

I was born in South Haven, went back for a visit last year for the first time since I was maybe two years old. That's a nice part of the country, really enjoy it.

Let's see a picture of your yard (or garden?)

BTW, I'm jealous of your access to water. Here's my delightful bare batch - doesn't entice much.

This is a Vash type thread, hence the Vashism responses.

I happen to agree that a garden must invoke a zen-like response when visited. One way or another, I'm having a damn zen-like response in a damn garden!
