Well set up 944's welcome...

Evidently, not many sign ups. So, the deadline can be ignored. Anybody want to do a track day at Willow with the Shelby club?

I think the 944 may be making a comeback . I have had 3 customers pick up 944 cars this season alone for track/hillclimb/autocross rats . I just had a guy in this morning asking me if I knew of any for sale locally .
Sounds fun, have you ever tracked you car Paul ?
I think Im gonna join you next year, and grab up a GT . Bucket list sorta thing .

Did PCA track days in P-cars...never in the Mustang. The Mustang a stock one. Used mainly for a weekly 80-90 miles round trip to my favorite pool hall & back home. 'o9 Bullitt model...now slow, old, and obsolete by Mustang standards of today. Probably fitting..considering the age of it's owner.

Actually, I'd consider a 944S2 or a 944 Turbo a heck of a bang for the bucks car...assuming you could find a good one. However, my P-car days are over.

I may have been mistaking him for someone else. I've got a '72...maybe it was me.

Jim, wait, am I an early 911 elitist?! I thought the 928s and 996s exempted me, but after Paul's comment now I'm not sure.

With the heat we've been having this summer, good luck to them filling that up!

I want to get out on the track in the 944, just haven't had time lately!

Only an early 911 elitist if your early 911 has Coco Mats. My 73E did, so I'm elitist personified.

Fun and cheap track weekend.
July at Streets, I avoid the desert track on hot days.

In that case, I'm honored you are even speaking to a lowlife such as myself.

Think I can get some of these Coco Mats for my turbo?

You took care of me with the DMF when I had a 993. I'll see if I can get you in to the Coco Mats gang.
