Another Name That Tool thread
![]() ![]() ![]() Any idea what this is? I found it in a storage bin my FIL had for a long time. I think he picked the bin up at a garage sale; don't think this was his. He's long gone, so I can't ask him. ![]() The knurled end looks to have been hit with a hammer, and there's no cutting or abrasive surface on the inside. |

That would work well for removing press fit drill bushings.

It's a tool used to set lead anchors.
Usually comes in the box with the anchors. |

Ok! So, anybody want a valve guide / bushing / seal driver? I don't think I've got any real use for it. It's ø0.878 OD with a ø0.344 nub. Yours for the cost of shipping.
EDIT: Sorry all, dan8891 "nailed" it. It's a lead anchor set tool. It was with a bunch of lead anchors, and I actually do have a use for that. I'm still willing to ship it out to anybody that needs to borrow it though! Last edited by Amail; 06-28-2016 at 12:40 PM.. |

I don't recall the brand name however, the anchors are available in various sizes for bolts & machine screws. After drilling a hole into masonry or concrete.

It's a head blapper. Used to blap people on the head, hence that blood looking stain.

Tool for setting lead anchors. There's also a multi-piece tool for use in hollow walls, like concrete block. They really work quite well.

That tool has an alternate use; it can be placed inside a knuckle sandwich to make it more satisfying.
