O.K. I quit. I didn't realize it already had a tube.

Buy "no flat tires" on Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/Marathon-Universal-Utility-Bushing-Included/dp/B000WU1A3O
Or go out and invest in a Magliner convertible dolly.... ![]()

I put green slime in my wheelbarrows. I think it works.

Green Slime works great. I've replaced these tubes and they are a PITA and not much less money than a bottle of Slime. I put Green Slime in my mower tires. It works great.

For what it's worth, the "stock" tubes are crap.
There are better tubes at places like Lowes which are thicker and advertise that they have a self sealing feature. I don't know if that's true because I have a ton of them and just can't keep track of em. But we do run the wheels off of the wheelbarrows and dump carts. And have even worn some tires and bearings out. |

HF also has the Slime patch kit. It comes in a reusable carboard tube. But as I say, get a new wheel, new tire, and two new bearings while you're at it.

Also, if you lay a piece of linoleum on the inside of the tire, it will protect the tube from punctures.

LOL! Good luck getting a piece of linoleum and a tube inside a 4" tire.

Heat gun makes it pliable enough, piece of baseboard vinyl works okay too. If I can do it on a mountain bike tire it probably would not be that bad on a tire that is twice as wide. Was too heavy on the bike though, better to carry a couple patch kits and avoid thorny areas.

My hand cart tires were cheapass Chinese tubeless and held air great until you tried to move something with it. As soon as they saw you walking toward the cart they went flat on demand and would fall off the bead so they were difficult to re-inflate. I changed out the wheels for solid tires and never looked back. My hand truck works first time-every time without the need for a compressor on standby. Productivity win.
