With auction mania or a flip plan in the back of their head just in case. The purists/enthusiasts will care for them but the money will hound them to sell and make a killing. How many of us get "what's a car like this worth" questions? Rare is the person (out in public) who asks about something other than a car's worth these days.

Last year I turned down an offer on my 94 928GTS of twice what I paid for it 7 years ago.



The offer was fair market value.

I wanted a 928 as a nice GT touring car for vacations with my wife

Now, the price is so close I will probably go for a panamera for that purpose instead

Somehow they both scratch the same itch for me
( that along with my 73 RSR replica and I think I'll be all set)
