Not that it matters, but no shooting from the truck, it rammed into the crowds running people over.
All the bullets were from the cops, perp is dead.

A witness, Wassim Bouhlel, told the Associated Press that he saw the truck drive into the crowd, then witnessed the driver emerge with a gun and start shooting.

It's now being reported that hostages have been taken at three locations. Meridien Hotel, the Hotel Negresco and the Buffalo Grill restaurant. 73 reported dead.

We should all be thanking everyone who is dedicating their lives and careers to keeping our country safe. There had to have been plans for an Independence Day attack that were foiled.
And then offer our condolences and give the French whatever they need to make this the last time, for a long time.

Just to keep the state of affairs compartmentalized. I'm not trying to be a cynic, but these type of events seems to be on a numbingly regular basis now.
