I agreed with Lutz...with govt. regulations, politicians who want us all on mass transit or bicycles, the automobile enthusiast is like the Do Do bird...fading fast from the landscape.

While Lutz was with BMW the subject of the BMW emblem, the Roundel, came up. BMW wasn't too thrilled with the emblem and felt maybe it was out dated and time for a change. Lutz told them not to change a thing. He went on to say that there were automakers that would die for an emblem that had so much history and at the same time was so simple, recognizable and admired.
They of course took Lutz's advice.
