Looking into Levono Yoga 710s. 16gb memory, 15.1" screen, Windows 10, touchscreen etc.
Must be popular, no Best Buy San Antonio had one. Any users here? Pros cons? Alternatives? Advice? Mainly for personal use. Has to be windows based . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

About a year ago, my son got a 2 in 1 sort of thing. I initially looked at the Yoga's, but checking some reviews, found some that weren't good. It may have been an older model, and what you're looking at may be fine, but check around. It may be that there aren't many because they are cheap and seem great.
My son ended up getting an HP Envy X2. I don't think they make the exact model any more, but his has been great. As far as I know, he hasn't had any problems. I think we speced it out with a SSD which was a little more expensive, but makes it much faster and more responsive and improves battery life. I think HP makes several similar models these days. http://store.hp.com/us/en/ContentView?eSpotName=notebook-finder&storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051

My wife has the Yoga 900 and loves it.
Almost 1 year of ownership and used daily for work and personal with no issues.

I like to buy the business class Lenovos because they are tough and last a long time. I bought a new T-40 for my then-freshman, now senior who has abused it and it still works perfectly and has acquired a patina rather than damage. I tried to get my younger son to buy one too it he wanted a gaming computer. I tried to get him into a Yoga but he found something dedicated to gaming that was cheaper.
Anyway, Fromme memory of my research last year, the original Yoga had mixed reviews but the newer generations were much improved and had good reviews. Check out Lenivo's outlet site outlet.lenovo.com. They have great deals frequently but they get snapped up fast. They repopulate the inventory constantly so recheck every 30 Minutes or so and you'll see new stuff. A Yoga might be overkill for fun/home use only but it would be a sweet machine to play with.
