I have been pretty lucky in my life with being able to enjoy almost all of the cars I have had on my bucket list.
I still have three more: 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster (narrow body would be amazing) 195x Porsche 356 Speedster 1986-89 Porsche 911 Turbo What are the cars left on other Pelicaner'z bucket lists? |

I have been fortunate to own a version of all the cars on my bucket list...but, and this is important, I never lusted after high end stuff: My Dad loved English and Italian cars and in the 60's and 70's (it was a buyers market) after spending time working on all of them I was scarred for life.
![]() I have no desire to own another air-cooled Porsche again unless I could find another 964 Targa. That would be it. It was by far my favorite 911. I am buying/getting a 997.1 Cab and I'll see: Not a bucket list car for me but I have an open mind. Lastly, my 1996 Land Cruiser is the end of the bucket.

im not really interested in owning things as a hobby.
there are bucket list things id like to do with cars, that i have not been able to do yet. namely stage rally. id also like to do dirt track oval racing some day. pavement is fun, ice is fun, but id like to branch out as i get older and do kinda, everything. |

I've gotten to drive around Laguna Seca in a '67 911S thanks to my brother. I've also gotten to do it in my old 912, which was a lot of fun too.
I've ridden in a 1929 Model A Pheaton and let me tell you at 50 mph that is a scary experience when you're used to 'modern' safety in a car. I think the greatest service guys with 'specialty' cars can do for others is to let them have a ride in their cars, just so they can experience what it's like. Now I'm content to just tool around in my factory hot rod Honda coupe.

Like others here I've been lucky enough to own and/or drive most of my bucket-list autos, including various American muscle cars, British sports cars and 911's, including my current '87 911.
This is probably because my list is somewhat grounded in reality. As much as I may admire a Duesenberg SJ, M-B 540K and 300SL, Porsche 935 and 959, those are things to be admired like objets d'art. The only one on my list that I have neither owned nor driven is a Mercedes-Benz 280SE Cabrio (W111/112), preferably a 3.5L. ![]() Last edited by dw1; 09-12-2022 at 04:28 PM.. |

Would love to own the following two cars concurrently:
1987-89 911 3.2 G-50 coupe 2003 access cab Tacoma, 6-cylinder manual trans, with cap. Would like them in mint condition - but at the right price would consider rebuilding. ...but I'm not about to let go of my 944! |

It's called pulling out their phone the minute they get in their vehicle......paying zero attention to anything else.......veering into opposing traffic.......pulling way past the line at intersections so other vehicles have to swing way out to make their turn......backing out of their driveways without checking for traffic (then just sitting there for a while before putting it in drive)........driving like a snail until the light ahead turns yellow....then flooring it so they end up going through the intersection just after the light turns red.....blocking side streets while waiting for a light......totally oblivious that there are people who live down those roads and need to make a turn there........
A LOT more than that....I see it here everyday........

Always wanted an Alfa Montreal and Maserati Bora. Have been on the verge of pulling the trigger at various times. Only thing stopping me are the maintenance and repair bills. I will stick with my 930 and 968.
