A robo call that actually paid off

I went out to my mail box today and one of the letters was a class action
settlement letter.You know the ones that you open and its a whopping
.57 cent check. Well lo and behold got lucky on this Labor day weekend.
Opened the letter and it described a class action suit against a business
in Florida called Stellar Concepts and Design. Apparently in 2010 they
placed over 30.000 robocalls to businesses in Washington state. Here in
Washington it is illegal to place pre- recorded calls to businesses using
an automated dialer. Well one of those businesses filed a complaint with
a law firm and after investigating it they took the case and ending up
winning a 4 million dollar judgement against Stellar. End result was a
$ 92.00 check that was sent out to 27,000 people as part of the settlement.
So a thank you to whoever filed the complaint ! Maybe if more companies
were fined these nuisance calls would go away.

That is awesome . I HATE THEM HATE THEM HATE THEM! 20 years in businiess , every day, 10 times a day, ring . ring, I drop everything, run to get the phone, and some ******* is wanting me to update my google listing, or trying to sell me engraved pens .
If I ever snap, telemarkeing/robocallers will be first on my list . BLAMO!

I have been involved in 4 class actions against robo calls with $300. total....the last one was $126 A lot of these calls are coming from overseas with spoofed fake phone numbers.
